Tuition and Teaching
There.
Two different regions of the world sharing space in one mind, and the ensuing dialogue between them. I take no credit for what I have to say because most of what I've said has been reiterated, recycled, and defined by many critical thinkers before. Please understand that this is just one blog of many other insightful blogs. I believe we all share a common ground, that of being human and capable of dialogue among ourselves. WELCOME
I'm 20, female, and I've been all over the world- that was a lie. I've been around the world, but not all over it. If you're still reading, I've lived in Iran for about a year, I studied in Iran for about a year, and I had many an epiphany in Iran for about a year. I've been about fifty feet from tyranny, and born in the arms of democracy. I'm a child of freedom swathed in the cloth of humanity and fed the fire of Prometheus. I don't think I'll ever grow up, however, I'm still in academia, still plying my trade as a student, and still enamored with the places that have shaped me. This blog is a simple escape for me to write about Iran, and what I saw through my eyes there. My blog was started in Iran, and up until 2006 that's where it stayed. Now, it's more of what I can digest now that I'm out of Iran. I think people misunderstand each other, and "ignorance is bliss" got it all wrong. Ignorance is not worthy of bliss! "Sweet sleep on the morning of departure Retains the pedestrian from the road."
